Before You Switch

The Questions That Matter

Moving your books to a new system is a big decision. Straight answers to what finance teams ask us first.

What does moving from our current system involve?
We agree a period end for the switch, so you start in Ameliorate with clean opening balances. During setup we bring across your customers, suppliers, products and open balances, your team tests with real scenarios before go-live, and we stay close for the first weeks after.
Will our auditor be comfortable with it?
Yes. Every document traces through to the journal entries it created, nobody can post manual journals to cash accounts, and once the year is signed off you lock the period so nothing more can be posted into it. Your auditor can have their own login with only the access they need.
What happens to our data if we ever leave?
It stays yours. You can export it to Excel or CSV, or read it live over OData, at any time, not just when you leave. If you do leave, you keep read-only access for 90 days to take whatever you need.
Who builds and supports it, and can it be adapted for us?
Ameliorate is designed, built, implemented and supported in Malta by RN Solutions. You deal with the people who write the software, not a reseller or an overseas helpdesk. If you need a custom report, document layout or integration with another system, we can build it for you.
Do we have to use AI?
No. Everything in Ameliorate works without it. If you connect an AI assistant later, by default it can only prepare drafts, and a person in your team checks and posts them.
